As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use technology to document activity, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor information in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-related logs and reports, including visitor entries, credential issues, and unusual activity, following established procedures.
• Respond to access control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
