RN - Correctional Health Profession: RN Specialty: Corrections Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 08:30 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 24 hours/week Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: CPR certification required Must-Have: Ability to respond to emergencies Experience in triage and coordination of health services Skills for long-term care and post-operative recovery Description:Schedule will vary:Week 1: 08:30 - 21:00 Monday to Wednesday (24 hours)Week 2: 08:30 - 21:00 Wednesday to Friday (24 hours) This position is for daily needs in the Health Services Unit.Duties include responding to sick calls and emergencies.This role involves collecting and responding to health service requests.The RN will triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule.Responsibilities include seeing sick calls and managing follow-ups from provider referrals.The RN will work with both the general population and those in restricted housing.Long-term care skills will be necessary for patients housed in sick cells or those requiring post-operative care.Temporarily, the RN will also perform laboratory tasks until support staff can be hired and trained. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
