Sales Assistant

You'll play an important role in our company's success by serving as a trusted resource for customers, brokers, distributors, freight partners, and internal teams.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative work with customer interaction and wants an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization.This position does not offer remote work, this position is onsite 5 days a week M-F at our location just outside of Monroe, WI.Job DutiesSupport the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Marketing Department.Onboard new customers and maintain customer information within company systems.Assist with customer account setup, new item launches, pricing updates, and account maintenance.Process credit applications and create customer records.Maintain accurate customer data and files.Communicate with customers, brokers, distributors, and internal departments to support account management activities.Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and product availability.Assist with order entry, order changes, confirmations, and customer communications.Coordinate freight shipments and customer deliveries.Build and maintain relationships with transportation and logistics partners.Review freight invoices and transportation-related charges.Support trade show planning, registrations, and event logistics.Coordinate customer demonstrations and product sampling programs.Manage product information across industry and customer data platforms.Maintain customer portals and website store locator information.Prepare export documentation for international shipments.Help maintain sales calendars, customer visit schedules, and team activities.Take on special projects and other duties that support the success of the department.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.QualificationsAssociate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to follow through and drive tasks to completion.Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn.Why Join Us?Become an integral part of a collaborative and supportive team.Gain exposure to sales, marketing, customer service, logistics, and business operations.Enjoy a role with variety, responsibility, and opportunities for growth.Build relationships with customers and business partners across the industry.Have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and company success.Physical RequirementsThis position primarily involves desk-based work with regular use of computers and communication tools.
