You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.HarbourVest is searching for an Adobe Technical Lead to join our team! This role is responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining Adobe solutions to support modern, secure, and high-performing digital experiences. A successful applicant has strong Java development expertise and experience in Agile environments. They can lead technical initiatives, resolve sophisticated issues, and uphold architectural and regulatory standards. This individual will also offer strategic mentorship on website modernization efforts while collaborating across teams to drive scalable and reliable platform solutions.The ideal candidate is someone who has:Proven practical experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar toolsPlatform familiarity: Apache, application logs, web infrastructureExperience leading engineering teamsSuperb communication and executive presentation skillsStrong problem-solving abilities with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across diverse teamsA proactive approach with strong ownership and accountabilityProficiency in:Back-end: Java / J2EEFront-end: JavaScript, CSS, jQueryIntegration: RESTful web servicesWhat you will do:Development of AEM components, templates, workflows, publishing, configurations & customizationsEnsure alignment with security, privacy, and governing regulations pertinent to financial services websites, including WCAG compliance for ADARegularly evaluate website health, including environment strategy, and platform securityEnsure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrenceProven track record of working in a fast-paced Agile Scrum Delivery Team environmentConduct technical reviews, support release management, mentor team members, and ensure alignment to architectural guardrailsProduce high-quality documentation (architecture diagrams, ERDs, integration flows)Provide thought leadership on website modernization initiatives and future-state capabilitiesAnd other responsibilities as requiredAllocation of Time40% Project Oversight30% Business Relationship Management30% Creating custom solutions, prototypes and system designs and architectureRequired Experience & SkillsProven track record using Jira or Azure DevOpsHands on experience building AEM components and working with JCR, Figma, and AEM workflowsExperience with Java, JavaScript, J2EE, CSS and related technologiesWorking knowledge and understanding of the following: Apache, App server logs, RESTful web services and jQueryPreferred QualificationsFront-end development coding experience using HTML, CSS or JS a plusExperience with front end frameworks such as Angular, React, and Bootstrap.Experience in integration of AEM with other Adobe products such as Marketo, Target, AEP, CJA or RTCDPKnowledge of the Adobe Edge Network and WebSDK tags a plusExperience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)Education PreferredBachelor of Arts (B.A.) or equivalent experienceExperience5+ years of website development experience as Front-end or Back-end developer#LI-HybridBase Salary Range:$160,000.00 - $170,000.00This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
