Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 24 months of current Emergency Room experience required; recent travel experience preferred License: Active Iowa license or compact/multi-state license required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - TNCC Must-Have: - Epic EMR experience required - All certificates must be active Description: The registered nurse will work in an emergency room setting. The position involves conducting clinician interviews effectively. Candidates must have experience in providing critical care, including administering critical drips. Scrub colors should be navy, black, or gray, with solid tops and bottoms. The role requires working every third weekend, including holiday rotations, depending on the schedule. Candidates are required to work 1-2 of three designated summer holidays. All applicants must have current and active certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Additional certifications preferred include a De-Escalation Certificate and NIH Stroke Scale certificate. The position mandates adherence to established clinical protocols and procedures. Professional references must be provided for evaluation purposes.
