Responsibilities:
- Title Processing
- Prepare and process tax and title documents in a time-sensitive manner to meet or exceed title reporting standards and benchmarks.
- Submit legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles within the required 30-day timeframe for Colorado.
- Apply for duplicate titles and Dealer for resale titles as needed, using all measures necessary to expedite the process and ensure delivery to the dealership.
- Address title issues immediately to remain in compliance with state and lienholder requirements.
- Ensure all titling paperwork is filed in accordance with appropriate state deadlines.
- Follow-Up and Compliance. Implement a process to follow up on all outstanding items, including frequent calls to lienholders, customers, DMVs, etc.
- Address and resolve customer/title work issues using problem-solving skills. Work through problems by brainstorming and making necessary phone calls to resolve issues.
- Experience with CDK
- 1-3 years of Dealership title experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in an automotive dealership setting.
- Knowledge of state titling and registration procedures (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
