System Test Engineer

Our client seeking a System Test Engineer to join their team. As a System Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the development and verification of electro-mechanical medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: System Test Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN - onsite What's the Job? Design, develop, and verify test methods and protocols on Linux-based platforms to ensure product quality and reliability. Perform system verification testing of electro-mechanical products, including hardware and software integration. Create comprehensive verification plans aligned with product requirements and specifications. Identify, document, and resolve issues during testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product performance. Lead and support industry standards testing such as safety and EMC according to 60601-1. What's Needed? Experience working in regulated industries with knowledge of QMS and SOPs. Hands-on experience in system verification, especially in medical devices, with at least one full product cycle. Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, validation, and risk management including failure mode analysis. Strong documentation skills for system architecture, design control, and verification reports. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is advantageous. What's in it for me?
