Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong Python programming skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Python development, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Python.
- Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python frameworks.
- Develop Python scripts, backend services, and automation solutions for application workflows and data processing.
- Implement secure, reliable, and high-performance application components.
- Work with relational databases, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs and messaging technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Follow software engineering best practices for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Core Java: Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
- Spring Framework: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture.
- Python: Strong programming and scripting skills; experience developing backend services and automation solutions.
- API Development: Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Database: Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Messaging: Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
- Testing: Experience with JUnit, Mockito, PyTest, or unittest.
- Build and Version Control: Git, Maven, or Gradle.
- Cloud and DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Financial services or banking domain experience is a plus.
