Job Title Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-time State Role Title Licensed Practical Nurse Hiring Range $34.00 – $37.00 Pay Band 3 Agency Dept of Veterans Services Location J&C VCC Agency Website Recruitment Type General Public - G Shift Differentials Second Shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.): $4.00 Third Shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.): $3.00 Weekends: additional $1.00 + shift differential Responsibilities Provide nursing care to residents during assigned shift, maintaining quality of service in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and safe medication administration. Assess, clean, and dress wounds. Evaluate patient conditions and vital signs. Implement and maintain infection control protocols. Provide acute care for patients with short-term severe injuries or illnesses. Accurately record patient information and progress. Qualifications Licensed practical nurse or equivalent nursing qualification. Minimum experience performing medication administration, wound care, patient assessment, infection control, acute care, and documentation. Ability to work part-time shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Additional Considerations Long-term care or hospital setting experience preferred.
