Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment requiring MA licensure, TNCC, and PALS certification.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room of a 298-bed teaching hospital
• 12-hour afternoon/night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed on 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required, plus holidays if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license not accepted

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• 3+ years of current Emergency Room experience required, within the last 6 months
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Skills checklist for Emergency Room experience current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

• Block scheduling requests will not be considered for this assignment
• All scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted at time of profile submission; requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted for the duration of the assignment
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two full holiday blocks: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
