Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Shift: 3:30pm-2:30pm Monday-Friday 30 days training on first shift
What's a typical day as Tablet Press Operator? You'll be:
- Setting up, calibrating, and operating tableting machines under the guidance of production management.
- Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
- Cleaning and sanitizing tablet presses and work areas.
- Recording all relevant batch production data accurately and neatly.
- Performing sensory evaluations of produced tablets for quality (e.g., smell, color, shape).
- Properly using and maintaining equipment, PPE, and materials.
- Cooperating with co-workers and supervisors and maintaining punctual attendance.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have the ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions in English.
- Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Have good mechanical skills and experience using hand tools (pliers, wrenches, hammers, etc.).
- Are able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 200 pounds.
- Can stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods and handle repetitive lifting.
- Pay strong attention to detail and follow directions closely.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Have previous manufacturing work experience (preferred).
