Your main responsibility will be to partner with an Account Executive on owning the technical sales strategy and execution for enterprise opportunities, demonstrating to customers the power and value of Chronosphere, and guiding their monitoring and observability solutions.You will also have the opportunity to contribute to pre- and post-sales processes, inform product innovation and build a career pathway in a rapidly growing team with a solid foundation.You WillEngage in early technical qualification and requirements gathering, while demonstrating relevant Chronosphere capabilitiesDrive and advise customers on pilot implementation, engaging other functions such as Engineering and Product as pertinentWork with your account executives on presentation customization, RFP responses, proposal packaging, opportunity planning and account strategiesBe comfortable connecting technical solutions with business value, technical requirements and organizational prioritiesBuild rapport and trust in both Chronosphere as a solution, vendor and partnerQualifications You have5+ years of experience as a sales engineer or equivalent pre-sales technical roleDirect hands-on experience, or working knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure or other modern cloud native technologies and platformsPrior experience with monitoring or observability tools (New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, DataDog, etc)Prior experience at a SaaS or Open Source vendorA passion for building relationships and driving sales successStrong personal motivation to meet and exceed measurable performance goalsA growth mentality with the instinct to be creative and collaboratively problem-solveAbility to successfully manage multiple priorities, while maintaining a high sense of urgencyExcellent interpersonal, verbal & written skillsOrganizational skills and a results-oriented, self-starter attitudeNice to HavePrometheus and Open Telemetry experienceTracing and Jaeger experienceDemonstrated ability to write code in at least one modern programming language (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, etc)Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
