Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit experience required License: State License required Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Flexibility required for scheduling. Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER to take holds. Description: This unit cares for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, chest pain rule out, and congestive heart failure. Noninvasive ventilation and post-cardiothoracic surgery care are provided. Experience with antiarrhythmic IV medications is necessary. Care for patients with peripheral vascular compromise is also included. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and adaptability to varying patient needs.
