Being a Hero in Daily Life: You will help residents with personal care, like getting dressed and eating, while allowing them to be as independent as possible. Creating Fun & Connection: You will take residents to community outings and help them enjoy hobbies, recreation, and time with friends. Being a Powerful Advocate: You will be the "voice" for our residents, making sure their needs are met and their goals are heard. Providing Expert Care: You will use your training to provide physical care, assist with medical needs, and keep everyone safe during challenging moments. Working as a Team: You will help keep living areas clean, attend team meetings to plan the best care, and help mentor new staff as they join the family. Professional Growth: You will learn new skills through specialized training and keep your CNA certification active with our support. **PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: ** ** Current Wyoming Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate is required. **Completion of internal Greenhouse (Shahbaz) training is required within 6 months of hire. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Substitution: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide OR Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare) Experience: 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Human Services Aide Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: - CNA Certification at the time of hire - Ability to complete Greenhouse (Shahbaz training) within six (6) months of hire. This position is eligible for a $2,000 Hiring Bonus Hiring Bonus eligibility and conditions - New state employees and temporary employees accepting a permanent position. - Current state employees accepting a promotional opportunity - recruitment must have been open to the public. - One year of service in the position must be completed. Failure to complete this requirement will require reimbursement of the bonus with the funds deducted from the final pay. - Internal candidates will be required to remain in the position for a minimum of one (1) year from the promotion date. - Employees will only be eligible for one (1) hiring bonus in a 12-month period.
