Assistant Controller

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the accounting and finance operations of a growing organization. This role will partner closely with leadership to oversee month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger activities, and process improvements while helping ensure accurate and timely financial information. Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Mentor and support accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills CPA preferred Public accounting experience is a plus Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to advance their career with a stable and growing organization while gaining exposure to leadership and strategic financial initiatives. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kellogg Staffing
