Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support a busy independent retail pharmacy in Ellaville, GA. This per diem role offers a consistent one-day-per-week schedule, with shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Ideal for pharmacists aiming to maintain flexibility while contributing their expertise in a community-focused pharmacy environment.

Location: Ellaville, GA
Schedule: One day per week (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), shift day varies
Environment: Independent Retail Pharmacy
Script Volume: Approximately 275 prescriptions per day
Staffing: 1 Pharmacist and 3 Pharmacy Technicians

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling in accordance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Utilize Pioneer RX for order entry and prescription processing (training available for Pioneer RX)
Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain efficient workflow and ensure optimal patient care
Manage prescription volume efficiently during your shift and uphold high standards of service and safety

Qualifications:

Current Georgia pharmacy license required
Retail pharmacy experience is essential
Prior experience with Pioneer RX is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
