Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, heating systems, and cooling equipment. Daily responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, troubleshooting system issues, and documenting all work performed. The role involves working directly at customer locations, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently while meeting local codes and industry standards. The technician will also communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams to support high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for commercial heating, air conditioning, and cooling systems, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Hands‑on experience with maintenance & repair of commercial HVAC equipment, including diagnostics, part replacement, and system optimization. Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices, including inspections, testing, cleaning, and adjustments to extend equipment life and improve performance. Commitment to customer satisfaction, including clear communication, professional conduct on‑site, and reliable follow‑through on service commitments. Current EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with environmental regulations. Knowledge of commercial HVAC codes, safety procedures, and best practices; ability to use standard HVAC tools and testing instruments. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between customer sites within the New York City Metropolitan Area. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC trade school program, apprenticeship, or equivalent field experience is preferred.
