Physical Therapist Assistant (URGENT)

Facility Community Hospital Torrington Location Torrington, WY Department Physical Therapy (Hospital-Based) Contract Duration Start: 11 May 2026 End: 08 Aug 2026 Total Duration: ~13 weeks Schedule 36 hrs/week Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Day shift Pay $42 – $44/hr Weekly Pay: $1,512 – $1,584/week Required Credentials Active Wyoming Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required Wyoming DFS compliance required BLS Certification required Experience in hospital-based physical therapy preferred Ability to assist PTs with treatment plans and rehab programs Knowledge of inpatient rehab and mobility support Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists with patient treatment plans Support patient mobility, strength, and rehabilitation exercises Document patient progress and treatment outcomes Help patients regain functional independence Follow therapy protocols and safety guidelines Collaborate with PTs and clinical care teams Provide hands‑on patient support in hospital setting
