PT - Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistThe Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. They are responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. The role ensures the design of functional treatment programs to promote effective return to community activities and involves educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals, focusing on patient discharge.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge.Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Participate in a student program, providing supervision and evaluations.Actively pursue professional development and apply learning to meet organizational objectives.Engage in patient and professional advocacy efforts.Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain licensure.Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBLS Certification required prior to first shift.Valid and current State license as a Physical Therapist.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.Acute inpatient experience preferred.ScheduleThis position requires availability for a Day 5x8.0 schedule.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
