About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; will consider 1 year of strong experience License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of ICU experience; strong experience may be considered Description: Our ICU unit has 24 beds and a staff of 46. The patient ratios are 1:2, with adjustments for specific cases. During day shifts, there is one CCT/US available for up to 10 patients. The unit utilizes an electronic documentation system. Shifts may require flexibility, including floating to the PCU or other inpatient areas as needed. Typical procedures performed in the unit include rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, and the use of ventilators and vasopressors. Staff members are also skilled in utilizing restraints and managing arterial lines. Best personality fit for this role is an outgoing team player. Weekend requirements include working three weekend shifts within a four-week period.
