FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Food Service Worker / Cashier – responsible for cashiering duties, general food service work, and maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining areas. Location & Schedule 303 Administration Drive, Denton, TX 76204 Full‑time and part‑time schedules; Sunday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Specific shift details are provided during the interview. Pay $12.00 to $18.00 per hour. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment. Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food‑safety and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner. Relay relevant information to supervisor. Perform sales transactions, enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept card payments and issue receipts. Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds. Maintain cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards. Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while keeping the service area clean. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Preferred: prior food service, customer service, training, and cleaning experience.
