Imperial Healthcare Center in La Mirada, California, is looking for a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team!

Whether you're an experienced SLP or looking to further develop your clinical skills in a skilled nursing setting, we'd love to hear from you!
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat residents with swallowing, speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life.
Provide skilled dysphagia management, cognitive rehabilitation, and communication therapy.
Complete accurate and timely evaluations, progress reports, and treatment documentation.
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, PT, OT, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident care.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment recommendations and strategies.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.
Skilled nursing facility experience preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
