What You'll Do

• Use your clinical judgment to diagnose and manage patient responses in a cardiovascular stepdown unit
• Monitor and care for patients following procedures such as PTCA, stents, TAVR, and pacemaker insertions
• Discharge 300+ post-operative cardiac surgery patients; assist with care for patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow unit protocols and safety procedures to maintain high standards of care

What You Need

• Current RN license in Michigan
• BLS certification
• Previous experience in cardiac or stepdown nursing preferred

• Experience with cardiac procedures and post-operative cardiac care
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
