Logistics Specialist – Managed Transportation A growing supply chain solutions provider is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support its Managed Transportation Services (MTS) team. This role is central to ensuring seamless shipment execution, data accuracy, and proactive communication across carriers, suppliers, and customers. With a focus on efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement, you’ll help optimize end-to-end transportation performance while delivering excellent service. Role Overview As part of the Managed Transportation team, you will coordinate freight activity, schedule shipments, and ensure on-time performance through accurate data entry and real-time communication. You’ll act as the link between customers, carriers, and internal teams, developing process improvements and driving both cost savings and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Manage daily transportation operations including scheduling, shipment tracking, and data entry. Ensure accurate load details and timely updates to customers and carriers. Proactively resolve service issues to keep shipments on track. Collaborate with analytics teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Build strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customer contacts. Support revenue and savings goals within Managed Transportation Services. Must be ONSITE in Waukesha at the client. Qualifications Required: At least 3 years of experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge of LTL, Truckload, FTL & Flatbed Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
