Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – MAT & Behavioral Health Services

Nairobi Integrated Services, LLC

Nairobi Integrated Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide medication management services for individuals receiving mental health and substance use treatment services.

This is a flexible 1099 contractor position ideal for a provider seeking part-time work with a growing behavioral health organization. The PMHNP will maintain autonomy in clinical decision-making while collaborating with counselors, peer recovery specialists, and case management staff to support client recovery and wellness.

The ideal candidate is eligible to practice autonomously in Virginia and is comfortable independently evaluating, diagnosing, prescribing, and managing psychiatric and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments.

• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.

• Prescribe and manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) medications, including buprenorphine-based treatment when clinically appropriate.

• Monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with the treatment team regarding client care and treatment planning.

• Participate in case consultations and quality improvement activities as needed.

• Provide telehealth and in-person services as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia PMHNP license required.

• Active DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.

• Must be eligible to practice autonomously in Virginia without physician supervision.

• Experience independently evaluating, diagnosing, and prescribing psychiatric medications.

• Experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services preferred.

• Experience treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.

• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Compensation

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $175 per completed assessment

• Initial MAT Assessment: $175 per completed assessment

• Medication Management Follow-Up Visit: $75 per completed visit

• Extended Follow-Up Visits (30+ minutes): $100 per completed visit
