Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Chipley, FL 32428
Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite or Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
School Year: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Schedule: 35 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–2:30 PM
Student Population: K–12
Caseload: Approximately 160 students shared among 3 SLPs and 4 SLPAs

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative school-based team serving K–12 students for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers flexibility with onsite and hybrid scheduling options while providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced SLPs and SLPAs in a supportive educational environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing speech-language services in schools, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services
• Deliver services through inclusive classroom models, pull-out therapy, one-on-one sessions, and small group instruction
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Maintain accurate documentation using Frontline
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with state and district requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Preferred

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based experience
• Experience supervising SLPAs
• Familiarity with Frontline documentation systems
