2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Job Summary:
• Pay: $19.37
• Shifts Available:4pm- 12am M-F

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery, compressors, pumps, conveyors, mixers, cutting equipment, and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and repair foam manufacturing equipment, blending systems, chemical handling systems, and material processing machinery.
• Install, align, and calibrate new equipment and production line components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as needed.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, and plant utilities.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and preventive maintenance documentation accurately and timely.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in after-hours or emergency repairs as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in foam manufacturing, plastics, chemical processing, or similar industries preferred.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding as required.
• Align and secure components prior to welding using clamps, fixtures, and other equipment.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Grind, polish, and finish welded surfaces as needed.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment when authorized.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of welding and fitting experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring tools including tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels.
• Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• welding test required during interview process
