This contract opportunity is available immediately through the end of the school year, offering the chance to make a positive impact across three campuses near Kankakee, IL. Enjoy a full-time schedule with consistent hours from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Illinois licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience delivering school-based therapy services preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Adaptability when supporting multiple sites and varying student needs
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions to help students access their education and achieve their potential
• Collaborate closely with licensed OTs, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain clear, timely records
• Travel between three assigned school sites during the week
• Participate in IEP meetings and support ongoing student assessments
• Provide engaging activities targeted to improve students’ daily living, motor, and sensory skills
• Contribute ideas to promote an inclusive, supportive school environment
