Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Sylva, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess laboring patients, providing safe and efficient care.
Administer medications related to labor and delivery.
Conduct cervical exams and evaluate fetal heart rate tracings.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure a compassionate environment that prioritizes patient comfort and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license.
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
