The role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a mixed critical care environment, including medical, cardiac, surgical, and neuro cases. The RN will float to med-surg (with telemetry as a priority) and the Emergency Department for admission holds only.Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide care to patients in the Critical Care Unit, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.\n Work effectively in a mixed critical care environment including various medical conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, CKD, MOF, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and complications from bone marrow transplants.\n Participate in the team-based approach to patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment plans.\n Float to med-surg and assist in the Emergency Department as needed for admission holds.\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting preferred.\n Previous travel experience is preferred.\n Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.\n Preferred Skills\n \n Experience with TNK for stroke management.\n Knowledge in withdrawal management for OUD populations.\n Familiarity with bone marrow transplant protocols.\n Experience with Belmont Rapid Transfuser, NX Stage CRRT, Arjo, and Stryker Altrix is helpful but not required.\n Scheduling Requirements\n \n Weekend requirements: every other weekend.\n Holiday requirements: as needed based on unit demands.\n \n Join our team and contribute to providing excellent care to patients in a dynamic critical care environment.\n \n Thrive Staffing Job ID #19183050.
