They are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support commercial mechanical construction projects in the Charlotte market. Local Charlotte-based projects available Relocation assistance offered for qualified candidates Regional and nationwide travel opportunities Long-term career growth with a respected mechanical contractor Diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial and industrial projects Responsibilities Manage HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and cost controls Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, GCs, engineers, and trade partners Monitor project performance and provide regular financial and operational reporting Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience with a mechanical contractor Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP construction Experience managing commercial, healthcare, industrial, mission-critical, or institutional projects Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and construction contracts Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software Strong leadership and communication skills Project Types Commercial Office Higher Education Industrial & Manufacturing Mission Critical / Data Centers Life Sciences Mixed-Use Developments Performance-Based Bonus Program Vehicle Allowance or Company Vehicle Relocation Assistance Available Travel Per Diem (for traveling assignments) Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Generous PTO and Paid Holidays Whether you\'re already in Charlotte, considering a move, or looking for a traveling Project Management opportunity, we\'d love to discuss how this role could fit your career goals.
