These positions will focus on:Key Responsibilities:Support financial improvement & audit readiness through the implementation of accurate logistics processesValidate logistics processes and policies and the implementation of sound policies/practices that support the accurate recording and maintenance of physical equipment inventoriesLeading and supporting the execution of Working Groups, Cross Functional Teams, and staff synchronization meetings.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in supply chain management, logistics, business, accounting or finance field of studyMinimum of 8 years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps logistics and/or financial systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with DoW financial management, logistics, property accountability, and audit requirements. and Federal systemsExperience supporting federal financial statement-based audit readiness or remediationExperience documenting and evaluating business processes and internal controlsFamiliarity with DoW logistics/supply chain, financial management, property accountability, and audit requirementsExperience with federal or DoW logistics, supply chain, property, inventory, or asset management processesKnowledge of federal, financial, or DoW policies regarding property accountabilityKnowledge of logistics processes such as:o Acquire-to-Retire, Plan-to-Stock, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Casho Property accountabilityo Inventory managemento Warehouse managemento Requisitioning and fulfillmento Receipt and acceptanceo Asset transfers and disposalso Excess and disposal processeso Inventory adjustments and reconciliationsExperience supporting federal financial management, audit readiness, internal controls, remediation, or financial improvement initiativesExperience supporting Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) methodology, audit response, corrective action, remediation, and sustainment activities.Experience analyzing and resolving audit findings, Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, and control deficiencies.Understanding of federal financial statement audit requirements and supporting documentation standards.Experience documenting and assessing business processes, risks, controls, andcontrol objectives relating to logistics and supply chain processesAbility to develop business process narratives, internal controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), assessment plans, sampling plans, test scripts, control testing documentation, and corrective action plansAbility to perform root-cause analysis and distinguish between process, system, transaction, data, and governance issues.Ability to Identify risks, evaluate controls, test effectiveness, and document resultsExperience analyzing large financial, logistics, inventory, or property datasets.Demonstrated experience analyzing and reconciling financial, logistics, inventory, orproperty dataUnderstanding of supply, inventory, property, equipment, and logistics transactions; capability to connect operational transaction to financial reporting ability to identify and remediate invalid or incomplete transactions, duplicate records, unsupported balances, unreconciled balances, aged transactions, missing documentation, inaccurate accounting classifications, invalid organizational or material codes, gaps or errors between systems, and legacy data remediationFamiliarity with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Excel/VLOOKUP, Power Query, data validation, and reconciliation techniques), as well as preferred familiarity with other data analytic tools that enable more advanced logistics data analyticsKnowledge of federal or DoW property, supply chain, financial, inventory, orprocurement, systems;
