Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of 1:4 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends
• Deliver individualized treatment plans within the occupational therapist's scope of practice
• Complete required orientation modules through the facility's learning management system
• Float within the hospital as needed and within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland state license or Compact license — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation hospital experience
• Current BLS certification — expiration date must be included at submission
• Must be nicotine-free; this is a tobacco-free facility and a positive nicotine screen will result in cancellation
• Two supervisor references required
• Former employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 1 year prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of overall occupational therapy experience preferred
• Prior travel therapy experience is a plus, though first-time travelers with sufficient experience will be considered
