Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cable Assembler for a contract opportunity in Poway, CA, supporting advanced aerospace and defense manufacturing. The Cable Assembler will perform detailed electronic and mechanical assembly work, including cable harnessing, soldering, wiring, component installation, and rework.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble electronic and mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies according to specifications.
- Build and work on cables, harnesses, chassis, printed circuit boards, panels, LRUs, batteries, servo motors, and related assemblies.
- Perform setups, adjustments, modifications, disassembly, rework, and reassembly while maintaining required tolerances.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, wire lists, specifications, and detailed work instructions.
- Use tools such as hot tweezers, soldering equipment, calipers, tape measures, and compression connection tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting quality and production standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Poway, CA.
- 1st Shift: 5:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- 1st Shift Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 12:30 am.
- 2nd Shift Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour.

-Conduct quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet required standards.
Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S).

-Train and assist junior assemblers when needed.
Complete assigned production tasks within schedule and quality expectations.
