Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam. Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging. Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions. Shift Information PRN / As Needed Education Associate [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Work Experience 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) [Required] If credentialed by ARRT, Florida CRT [Required] Physical Requirements Physical Requirements - Pay Range $28.68 - $53.35 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
