To Apply for this Job Click HereData Architect Engineer (AWS)Food Services Industry | Remote | ContractAbout the RoleWe are supporting a growing organization in the food services industry that is expanding and modernizing its cloud-based data ecosystem. This role is ideal for a hands-on Data Architect who enjoys both strategic architecture and technical implementation and will partner closely with developers, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.Technical EnvironmentAWS including S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQLSnowflakePython development environmentAngular / TypeScript application stackServerless AWS architectureAPI-driven integrationsKey ResponsibilitiesDefine, design, build, test, and implement scalable data pipelines.Architect AWS-native data solutions including data lakes and reporting platforms.Develop data models supporting analytics and reporting.Design and develop API integrations.Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and Glue jobs using Python.Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance.Ensure security, governance, privacy, and compliance.Maintain architecture documentation.Mentor team members and promote best practices.Required Experience5+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fields.3+ years of Python development experience.3+ years building ETL and data pipeline solutions.Hands-on AWS experience including Lambda, Glue, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.Strong SQL and data modeling experience.Serverless architecture experience.API integration experience.Experience working in Agile environments.Strong communication and analytical skills.Preferred ExperienceSnowflake experience.Experience with dbt and/or Databricks.Machine learning or AI analytics exposure.Terraform or CloudFormation experience.CI/CD for data engineering workflows.AWS Certifications.LogisticsWork Location: Charlotte, NC preferred.
