Full-Time | Part-Time Opportunities Available
Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality meal service to residents while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare setting and are passionate about resident care and customer service.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation, tray setup, and food service
Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and professional manner
Assist residents during mealtimes as needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
Properly store food and supplies according to facility guidelines
Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing departments
Ensure excellent customer service for residents and guests
Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude
Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices preferred
Must be able to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
