Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Four 10-hour shifts per week | 50% on-call requirement including every other weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders to plan and execute appropriate imaging procedures in both CT and Radiology (X-ray) departments
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered, while continually monitoring patient condition and responding to changes in status
• Position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze results, and take corrective action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning and repeating procedures as needed
• Implement safety standards, perform quality control procedures on equipment, and troubleshoot or report equipment malfunctions
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results; float between X-ray and CT departments as required

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT — must be provided at time of submission
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association — must be provided at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in both Radiology and CT
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Completion of a CT technology certificate program in addition to the associate degree
• Prior travel assignment experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
