About the Role

The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Technology Officer to serve as the primary execution arm of the CIO/CTO, with a focus on translating technology strategy into tangible outcomes across engineering, infrastructure, and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the simplification of architectures, platforms, and delivery models to enhance reliability and accelerate time-to-market. This role also involves ensuring that technology decisions align with an open-source-first philosophy while maintaining enterprise-grade standards. The Deputy CTO will oversee large global technology organizations, create a culture of accountability, and partner with senior leaders on various strategic initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive technology leadership experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise software environments, with a proven track record of leading large, multi-layered global technology teams. A strong background in both software engineering and infrastructure/platform engineering is essential, as is experience in driving large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of enterprise systems, hybrid cloud environments, and modern software architectures, as well as a strong technical foundation in relevant technologies. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, delivery-focused leader with executive presence, capable of influencing at the C-suite level and comfortable operating in complex, transformation scenarios.
