HIRING IMMEDIATELY: RECEIVING CLERK IN LACEY, WA

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Receiving Clerk to join our team in Lacey, Washington. This individual will be responsible for producing, verifying, and maintaining the documentation, record-keeping, and data-entry functions required to support the warehouse's shipping and receiving processes. • Starting at $18.13/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule delivery appointments, issue confirmation numbers, and manage "no-shows" daily.
• Check drivers in/out, verify purchase orders/confirmation numbers, log arrival/departure times, and obtain signatures.
• Assign dock doors or designated parking spaces; instruct drivers on communication protocols (e.g., radio channel 1). Seek supervisor approval for late, early, or unexpected arrivals
• Generate, sign, date, and organize all daily shipping and receiving documents, including next-day tallies.
• Compare driver bills of lading (BOL) against purchase orders, ensure bio-terrorism paperwork is complete, and verify package accuracy against invoices.
• Reconcile physical receiver counts (total cases and pallets) against the BOL, note discrepancies, and email signed/stamped invoices to suppliers daily.
• Contact suppliers regarding errors.
• Maintain real-time data integrity in the system (Fisher/WMS) regarding arrival/departure times, container/trailer numbers, door assignments, item counts, and operational comments.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Minimum preferred typing speed of 1400 keystrokes per minute
• High attention to detail, strong customer service commitment, and the ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with co-workers, handle difficult individuals, respond constructively to supervisor feedback, and communicate across teams.
