Emergency Room Registered NurseRN/ER Avg. Daily Census: 60 Rooms/Beds: 8 Years of experience REQ: 3 First-timers accepted: No Weekend REQ: Yes, but varies due to vacancy Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, PALS Skills REQ: Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Starting and maintaining IVs, Emergency Medications Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will have to float to all community hospital ER units. Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed. Locals accepted: No, home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements: ACS CVA/TIA Respiratory conditions Sepsis Diabetes related emergencies Trauma and Injuries Abd pain Behavior health emergencies Neurological complaints Common medical complaints- HTN, dehydration, UTI. flu, COVID, other acute illness. Any patient can walk in with any condition or complaint at any time. Hospital is 1 floor. Half is ED, and half is med-surg/intermediate unit. The hospital is staffed with 1-1 ED RNs, 1-2 Providers, 1 MSI RN, 1 Charge Nurse, 1-2 Paramedics, 1 Radiology tech, 1-2 patient access reps. The ED is 8 beds. Staff take working lunches.
