About the role: We are actively seeking an experienced Design-Build Electrical Estimator to join a growing Pre-Construction team based in Greensboro. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical estimating, design-build delivery, and commercial construction projects who can bridge the gap between engineering, estimating, and field operations. This opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile commercial and industrial projects while collaborating closely with project managers, field teams, engineers, vendors, and clients throughout the full project lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in: Preparing accurate electrical estimates, budgets, and bid proposals Supporting design-build electrical construction projects from concept through completion Producing material take-offs, labor analysis, and pricing evaluations Providing value engineering and constructability input during pre-construction Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful projects This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both the technical and commercial aspects of electrical construction and thrives in a fast-paced pre-construction environment. About the candidate: We are looking to speak with professionals who have experience within: Commercial electrical construction Electrical estimating and pre-construction Electrical engineering or field installation environments The ideal candidate will have: 3+ years of electrical estimating and/or electrical design experience Experience producing detailed material take-offs and project budgets Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction processes Experience using estimating software such as Bluebeam, Accubid, or Trimble Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM coordination tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills The ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and field teams Candidates with field electrical construction experience, BIM coordination exposure, or a Professional Engineer (PE) license are strongly encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Just Construction Recruitment
