Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional early starts (6:00–7:00 AM for morning ADLs) and one Saturday per month | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including participation in early morning ADL routines as scheduled
- Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
- Familiarity with a 16-bed rehabilitation unit workflow
- Experience with morning ADL programming and structured daily therapy schedules
