Charting: Must have EPIC experience Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Peripheral Line Care/Management Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions 26 beds. The Intermediate Care unit (IMCU) is a critical care step-down unit dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence- based care to our patients. We receive patients from many areas, including but not limited to: the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and medical-surgical floors. Our patient population consists of adult, acute care patients who require more specialized care than is available on a general medical-surgical unit. All of our patients have continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring. We care for patients needing airway management, acute BIPAP support, patients with arterial lines, central lines and patients requiring titrated medicated IV infusions.
