Test Technician Lead

Location: Hollister, CA ONLY US CITIZENS PER CLIENT REQUEST

High school diploma or equivalent with experience in Aero or Defence sector preferred

7- 10 years as a Test Technician, with experience in electronics testing

Familiarity with MS office products.

Perform repetitive electrical, dimensional, visual, and leak testing to written procedures using the proper calibrated equipment.

Make their own test set-ups with minimal support from higher level technicians in accordance with written test procedures.

Read and interpret conventional electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Mass spec (i.e., leak) testing in accordance with written procedures such as IPTs, ATP's, QTP's, and MP's.

Environmental testing, with support from higher level technicians in accordance with written procedures such as IPT's, ATP's, QTP's.

Programming and operation of environmental test equipment and performance of environmental testing.

Test equipment calibration monitoring, in addition to 5S disciplines.

Knowledge in handling and cleaning fiber optics is a plus.

Under supervision and guidance of a test engineer, recommend red lines to written procedure.

Test equipment calibration monitoring and recall support.

Complex destructive and non-destructive testing.

Training of lower-level technicians.

Support failure investigation efforts.

Review and approval of test data packages.

Building of test fixturing and special test equipment.

Assist lab management with job assignment and prioritization.

Lead the test floor when supervisor is unavailable.
