Job Title: Professional Development ConsultantReports To: Sr. Director, Professional DevelopmentPosition OverviewThe Professional Development Consultant Focus: Plays a critical role in driving early success and long-term retention for experienced Real Estate Professionals with Coldwell Banker Realty. This role blends 1:1 coaching, small group facilitation, and strategic support and content development for local leadership to ensure agents are productive, connected, and aligned to Coldwell Banker’s value proposition.Core ResponsibilitiesExperienced Agent Support(70%)Facilitate large or small group, 1:1, and cohort-based sessions to drive productivity and platform adoptionIdentify key agent needs and coordinate with field leadersRegional Liaison(25%)Serve as a strategic partner to Regional Presidents and RVPs by sharing trends and insights from the fieldParticipate in leadership meetings and support local initiatives by sourcing professional development tools and resourcesEnsure field leaders are informed and equipped with the latest learning and development updatesProactive outreach and collaboration with field leadership and agent-facing engagement regionally to meet local market needs and regional nuancesCross-Enterprise Collaboration(5%)Collaborate with other CIH brand professional development teams, including both company-owned and affiliateMaintain consistency of messaging, programming, and onboarding experience across brandsQualificationsRequired Experience & Attributes3+ years of experience in agent development, performance coaching, brokerage enablement, or similar roles Deep understanding of the real estate lifecycle, transaction flow, and the business drivers that impact agent productivity Strong facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills across varied audiences High emotional intelligence with a demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and support experienced professionalsAbility to effectively navigate and align multiple stakeholders within a matrixed organizationPreferredPrior experience with Coldwell Banker or CIH (Compass International Holdings) systems, resources, and marketing toolsFamiliarity with onboarding programs or real estate agent lifecycle initiativesComfort delivering in both virtual and in-person settingsSuccess MeasuresPositive facilitation experience and engagement scoresIncreased adoption of Coldwell Banker tools and services including the Home Platform and attach rate for primary servicesSuccessful positioning and adoption of three-phase marketing strategyField leader satisfaction with onboarding partnership and supportColdwell Banker is one of the world’s leading brands for the sale of million-dollar-plus homes and one of the largest residential real estate brokerage franchisors, with approximately 2,800 franchise and company owned offices and over 99,000 independent sales associates in the United States, Canada and 40 other countries.
