Heavens Urgent Care
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Urgent Care Medical Assistant to join our growing team at our family-owned and operated Urgent Care! You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team, whether in the back office or at the check-in desk.Clinic hours are 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday, giving lots of room for flexibility to accommodate everyone's availability and lifestyle.Full time, up to 40 hours per week.Responsibilities:Handle all administrative duties in a timely mannerPerform routine clinical tasks to support medical staffCommunicate with insurance companies for proper billing proceduresEscort patients to exam rooms
Assist patients with check-in, triage, and verify insurancesTake vitals and room patients, ensuring their comfort during their visitPerform medical procedures as necessary, supported by one of our friendly and helpful providersCommunicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals, often over the phoneMaintain patient medical recordsClean and sanitize patient areas and exam rooms, stocking if neededAct with honesty and integrity in all business transactions Qualifications:Previous experience in healthcare field, preferably urgent careFamiliarity with medical billing proceduresStrong organizational skillsStrong customer service and ability to build rapport with patientsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment \nCompany DescriptionHeavens Medical and Heavens Urgent Care have been providing exceptional, high-quality medical care to the East Valley since 2012.Company DescriptionHeavens Medical and Heavens Urgent Care have been providing exceptional, high-quality medical care to the East Valley since 2012.Vacancy posted 1 day ago
