Types of projects would normally include parking garages, warehouses, schools, jails, prisons or other facilities requiring innovative concrete products.* Perform accurate takeoff of precast components.* Utilize Excel spreadsheets to determine plant, freight, and field operations costs associated with the project.* Prepares estimates to be used by management, sales, planning, engineering, and field operations in scheduling work, preparing bids; consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues as requested by Sales personnel.* Completes duties and responsibilities in the appropriate time frame with minimal supervision.* Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost date of effect cost reductions.* Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to cost estimates.* Visualizes and/or creates 3-D precast concept from 2-D contract drawings.* Performs additional duties as assigned.* Understands engineering concepts regarding general structural concepts, connections, component limitations, and constructability.* Has daily contact with fellow employees in other units of the company, top management, customers and vendors/suppliers.**Job Specifications or Qualifications:****Education**: Associates Degree (2 year) or an equivalent combination of experience/training is needed.**Experience**: 1 to 3 (+) years of related experience is required.-All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.(blob: / 3:00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
