Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Food preparation - Preparing core menu items like chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and fries according to strict recipes and procedures. This includes breading chicken, assembling sandwiches, and portioning ingredients correctly.
• Cooking and kitchen operations - Operating fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while keeping up with demand, especially during rush periods.
• Order accuracy and speed - Working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure orders are made quickly and exactly as requested, including special modifications.
• Food Safety and cleanliness - Following food safety standards (handwashing, glove use, temperature checks) and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen to meet all health regulations.
• Stocking and inventory support - Restocking ingredients, monitoring supply levels, rotating stock (FIFO), and helping with basic inventory tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
