Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description: (VAYA OFFER) 2 years of CVICU experience required. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required. CCRN preferred. Prefer candidates with ECMO experience. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN

Skills: Arterial line management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, ECMO, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Management of dysrhythmias, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Ventilator Management

Patient Diagnoses: Heart and lung transplant, CABG, STEMI, ARDS, HF, COVID, Vascular, Esophagectomy, VATS

Special Procedures/Unit Details: ECMO, LVAD, IABP, EKOS

Compliance requirements: BLS, ACLS, EKG onboarding exam, NIHSS, Advanced Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU Competency exam, CVICU Competency exam, General ICU skills, CVICU skills, CORE exams

Special Equipment: 2 years of CVICU experience required. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required. CCRN preferred. Prefer candidates with ECMO experience.

Travel Compliance RTO - must be presented at time of submission. Any time off sent after the offer will not be approved. 2 yrs experience required in specialty - unless specified otherwise in the job description or UD. Compact or KY State License (required at time of submission) Locals: Not accepted within the following radiuses: Cath Lab RN, IR RN, and Radiology: 75 miles All Other Specialties: 100 miles At least 1 Reference Required at time of submission Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital near by Return Staff Policy: Gone for 6 months to return as traveler License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits. If you are submitting a traveler with a license hit, the submission will be rejected. PLEASE READ: For this health system- we MUST know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile to check their eligibility for rehire. Rehire eligibility at UK is checked by HR every Friday and should this eligibility check come back as ineligible post-offer, your traveler may be cancelled. Please discuss with your traveler at time of submission and ensure they are aware. Modules: Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours and not included in NBO hours Modules are completed during orientation and annually, and vary by specialty
